Dr Barker has over 7 years’ experience in general practice and has undertaken further training in skin cancer medicine and dermatoscopy. He is currently working towards Fellowship with the Skin Cancer College Australasia.
Dr Barker enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a particular interest in skin cancer medicine and procedural care. He has completed advanced surgical training in general surgery, gaining experience in procedures including skin flaps and grafting.
He provides skin checks and assessments, which may include dermatoscopic imaging and, where clinically indicated, biopsy following assessment.
Where appropriate, Dr Barker performs procedures for the management of skin lesions, including surgical and non-surgical options. He also manages a range of common skin conditions, including lumps and bumps of concern.
