Dr Shady Hegazy is an experienced skin cancer doctor with advanced training in skin cancer detection, diagnosis, and surgical management. He performs a range of skin cancer procedures, including complex closures, flaps, and reconstructive techniques, and has particular experience operating in sensitive areas such as the face and ears.
Dr Hegazy consults full-time at Skin² in Dapto, where he focuses on early detection and the surgical management of skin cancers. He has completed multiple accredited Australian training programs in skin cancer medicine and surgery and is currently undertaking the Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery Principles to further expand his skills in advanced procedures.
Alongside his skin cancer work, Dr Hegazy draws on a broad general practice background, including experience in musculoskeletal medicine, general medicine, and procedural care. This supports a holistic, patient-centred approach across all stages of assessment and management.
Dr Hegazy values clear communication, practical problem-solving, and patient education, and is committed to providing evidence-based care and appropriate follow-up. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family.
