Dr Andrew is an experienced and compassionate Specialist General Surgeon with over forty years in medicine and a special interest in skin cancer management. With extensive experience across Western Australia and Queensland, regions with high rates of skin cancer and melanoma, he has developed a strong focus on early detection, assessment, and surgical management of skin conditions. Dr Andrew provides comprehensive skin checks, skin cancer screening, and treatment planning, supporting patients through each stage of care with a clear and patient-centred approach.
With advanced training in transplant and liver surgery, Dr Andrew applies refined surgical techniques to the management of complex skin cancers. His experience includes performing advanced excisions and reconstructive procedures, including flap repairs, with a focus on safe and effective outcomes. He has also contributed to surgical services in regional and remote communities, ensuring access to high-quality care. Dr Andrew supports patients requiring coordinated care across both public and private hospital settings when needed.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr Andrew enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with his family. He is also a long-time enthusiast of classical music.
