Dr Bilal Ahmad is a dedicated GP Registrar with a strong interest in skin cancer medicine and skin health. A graduate of King’s College London, Dr Ahmad has developed a broad clinical background across multiple medical specialties, including extensive surgical experience. He is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Emergency Medicine and undertaking further advanced education in skin cancer medicine to expand his expertise in the diagnosis and management of skin conditions.
With a particular focus on skin cancer screening, mole checks, and early detection, Dr Ahmad is passionate about helping patients take a proactive approach to their skin health. His interest in skin cancer medicine developed through his surgical background, where he gained valuable experience in assessment, investigation, and procedural care. He has completed the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) Certificate of Skin Cancer Dermoscopy and is currently undertaking the SCCA Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine. Dr Ahmad values the role of regular skin checks in supporting early diagnosis and effective management of skin cancer.
Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Ahmad has been recognised nationally in the United Kingdom for his involvement in Quality Improvement Projects and has contributed to international publications in vascular surgery. Outside of work, he enjoys football (soccer), travelling, going to the gym, musical theatre, and refining his cooking skills.
